ABOUT

About Us

The Sanders Hand:

Founded in 2017 by Sebastian Sanders, The Sanders Hand is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of youth and young adults through education, mentorship, and opportunity. Our mission is to close the wealth and knowledge gap by equipping students with the tools they need for financial independence, career readiness, and entrepreneurial success. To date, we have impacted thousands of youth across Texas and around the world with programs rooted in real-world application, innovation, and equity.

The Young Billionaire Club (YBC):

Launched in 2021, the Young Billionaires Club (YBC) is the cornerstone of our youth programming. YBC delivers engaging, project-based learning experiences in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership development for students ages 12–25. Through a combination of classroom-based instruction, hands-on application, community outreach, and mentorship, YBC prepares students to succeed in today’s economy and future workforce.

State-Aligned CTSO:

As a Texas Education Agency (TEA)-recognized Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO), YBC incorporates TEKS-aligned instruction into its curriculum to support academic and career competencies in business, finance, marketing, and leadership fields. This alignment ensures that students gain both practical skills and career readiness credentials through their participation.

YBC Virtual Campus:

The YBC Virtual Campus expands access to learning by providing a flexible, interactive digital platform featuring immersive lessons, discussion boards, and certification opportunities in financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Whether at home, in school, or in underserved communities, students can access high-quality education designed to prepare them for real-world success.

Global Reach with Local Impact

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, The Sanders Hand delivers youth-centered programming across the state and maintains a growing international presence. Our initiatives provide access to mentorship, funding opportunities, leadership training, and business pitch competitions that empower students to pursue meaningful opportunities in education, work, and business. In Ghana, our efforts include building a digital lab to increase access to technology and bring financial literacy and entrepreneurship education to underserved communities abroad.

Join Our Mission

At The Sanders Hand, we believe every young person deserves the tools to succeed. Through our programs, partnerships, and community engagement, we are shaping a generation of empowered leaders who are driving positive change in their lives and communities.
