About Us
The Sanders Hand:
Founded in 2017 by Sebastian Sanders, The Sanders Hand is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of youth and young adults through education, mentorship, and opportunity. With a mission to close the wealth and knowledge gap, we empower students to achieve financial independence, career readiness, and entrepreneurial success. To date, we’ve impacted over 5,000 youth across Texas and globally, with programs rooted in real-world application, innovation, and equity.
The Young Billionaire Club (YBC):
A Legacy of Leadership Launched in 2021, the Young Billionaires Club (YBC) is the cornerstone of our youth programming. YBC provides engaging, project-based learning in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership development. Through both classroom-based instruction and community outreach, we help youth ages 12–25 build the mindset and skills to lead in today’s economy.
State-Aligned CTSO:
Career & Technical Education for a New Generation
Recognized by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) as an official Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), YBC integrates Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards into its curriculum. This alignment ensures our students are equipped with the academic and career competencies to succeed in business, finance, marketing, and leadership fields.
YBC Virtual Campus:
Expanding Access to Learning The YBC Virtual Campus serves students worldwide with a flexible and interactive digital learning experience. This online platform features 10 immersive lessons, discussion boards, and certification opportunities in financial literacy and entrepreneurship. Whether at home, in school, or in underserved communities, youth can access high-quality education designed to prepare them for the future.
Global Reach with Local Impact
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, The Sanders Hand delivers youth-centered programming across the state of Texas and maintains a growing international presence in Ghana. Through our statewide initiatives, we provide access to mentorship, funding opportunities, leadership training, and business pitch competitions that empower students to pursue real-world success. In Ghana, we’ve expanded our mission globally by building a digital computer lab to increase access to technology and bring financial literacy and entrepreneurship education to underserved communities abroad.

Founder
Sebastian Sanders, known as “The Youth Principal,” is a nationally recognized nonprofit executive, business strategist, and global youth empowerment leader.
Based in Houston, Texas, he has inspired over 100,000 students worldwide to lead with purpose, build generational wealth, and challenge systemic barriers through entrepreneurship.
In 2017, Sebastian founded Sanders Hand, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has empowered over 5,000 youth and college students across Texas, Oklahoma, and Ghana through programs focused on financial literacy, workforce development, and youth-led business ownership. These efforts have generated more than $2.5 million in local economic impact.
Under his leadership, Sanders Hand became one of only ten organizations in Texas recognized by the Texas Education Agency as a Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO), integrating youth entrepreneurship into public education.
Sebastian’s flagship program, the Young Billionaires Club (YBC), equips youth with hands-on business skills and formerly operated Houston’s first youth-led thrift store. Though now closed, the store served as a model for real-world financial education.
Globally, Sebastian launched Sanders Hand Ghana and the Juanita Sanders E-Learning Center, providing underserved youth with digital tools, coding education, and entrepreneurship training.
Holding an MBA in Management and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Sebastian’s career began at PepsiCo and Frito Lay, where he gained expertise in logistics and retail operations. He now serves as a small business coach, nonprofit consultant, and host of the Money Mondays business series.
